Slowing down to speed up

Sometimes we need to slow down to speed up – it's that deep breath that reignites our spark! But it can be incredibly challenging to prioritize that for ourselves.

This week I attended "Magic Monday" at trove – an evening of wellness crafted specifically for female founders. My customized itinerary started with a NAD+ vitamin boost, followed by an immersive sound bath, a delicious dinner from Impact Kitchen, and my first experience with lymphatic compression. My evening wrapped with a solo journey in a zen salt cave where I lay on a heated healthy wave mat and listened to a soothing 20-minute meditation - before circling up around the fire table for an intimate chat with the other entrepreneurs in attendance.

Sharing this experience with Liat Horovitz (a friend I've only met this year but have already grown to love!) and a very inspiring group of female founders made it even more special. (A huge thank you to Tanya Kololian and Zoë Paliare for curating this nurturing oasis and planning special events such as this – you are creating magic!)

It was exactly what my soul craved – a profound reset that filled me with renewed energy.

And here's the deeper, life-changing lesson I've been embracing firsthand as an entrepreneur: Caring for our nervous system health is the ultimate key to unlocking sustainable success. It's the quiet powerhouse behind every innovative breakthrough, resilient pivot, and meaningful leadership moment. When our nervous system gets overwhelmed, it can sneak in burnout, stifle creativity, and blur our sharpest insights – I've navigated those foggy stretches myself, emerging stronger by tuning in and tending to it. Prioritizing this maintenance isn't just self-care; it's the foundation that empowers us to lead with clarity, empathy, and unshakeable drive, building empires that thrive without sacrificing our well-being.

If this lights a spark in you, take a moment now to schedule that restorative ritual, whatever calls to your heart – a sound bath, a nature walk, breathwork – and embrace it with open arms. Your entrepreneurial journey or your effectiveness as a corporate leader will soar higher because of it, and the ripple effect of your self-care goes far beyond what you can fathom.

What's one practice that recharges your nervous system? Please share in the comments so we can continue to support and inspire one another.
