The magic of community

There are some conferences that blow open your mind with exceptional content, leaving you feeling extraordinarily drained after a whirlwind few days.

In the case of the last week’s Mastermind Talks (MMT) gathering in Ojai, California – it was my heart that was blown open from profound connection that left me feeling extraordinarily fulfilled.

The deep sense of connection occurred on so many levels – with the natural world through the breathtaking mountainside setting, with the outstanding speakers – including Ryan Holiday, Will Guidara, George Raveling, Shefali Tsabary, Jerry Colonna, and Jayson Gaddis – who approached highly personal and often sensitive topics with extraordinary authenticity, compassion and a remarkable willingness to share their own struggles and failures. And, most of all, with a remarkable community of ~130 entrepreneurs who removed their masks, played full out, and approached every interaction with honesty, humility, and curiosity.

It is hard to describe in words the magic that Jayson Gaignard and Kandis Gaignard and their team create through their MMT Community gatherings – but the feeling I had after those three glorious days will stay with me forever.

It was a beautiful reminder of the incredible growing, healing and emotional connection that is possible when life is approached with an open heart.
